Transforming Education from Output to Outcome
South Africa doesn’t have a shortage of potential. It has a shortage of pathways.
For every 100 children who start school, 50 reach Grade 12, 23 qualify for university or technical college, 15 enroll, and 6 graduate, 2 secure employment within a year.
That means more that 90% of young South Africans will leave school at or before Grade 12 with the last qualification they will ever achieve and destined to add to the 60% of under 24 year old’s not in employment education or training (NEET)
Yet our education system continues to prioritise tertiary education leaving millions of capable young people deprived of academic pathways unprepared and marginalised from a rapidly changing world of work.

Pathways With Options For All Learners
At Lodestone EdSupport NPC, we believe success should not be measured only by university admission.
We believe every learner deserves a meaningful pathway to employment, entrepreneurship, or further vocational learning.
Through the Collaboration School Programme, we work alongside schools, industry, communities and government to integrate accredited QCTO and NQF vocational education with the existing academic curriculum.
This isn’t about lowering standards.
It’s about creating a broader, more relevant standard that prepares learners for the opportunities that actually exist within their local economies
The Foundation of Community Resilience
Schools with predictable and viable education pathways from academia to accredited work-ready certification.
Where regional businesses help shape the curriculum, provide learnerships, employ graduates.
Where schools serve all learners and become engines of change and community sustainability.
Where young people can build careers and businesses without leaving the communities they call home.
Where education strengthens families, grows local economies and builds resilience.

Vision
Public schools are the beating heart of the community they serve. They are the inspiration for, and epicentre of, community and locational social transformation. They are an unstoppable engine of economic development, resilience, and sustainability.
Together, we can build an education system that works for all South Africans – not just the few.
